Is The Oligarchy — “The Money Party” — Conspiring To Cause The U.S. To Default On Paying Its Debts?

It appears everything in U.S. politics happens as a sham, as theater.

President Obama last year allowed tax breaks for the very wealthy to stand, regardless that he made changing the tax laws a big deal in his campaign and regardless that at the beginning of his administration, his party controlled the presidency and both houses. How strange that Obama allowed a big component of his campaign to slip away — unless, in fact, it was the way he planned it all along. If Obama never had intention of taxing the wealthy — his actions all makes sense. Like every magic trick, he needed a way to divert attention. Predictably, the party out of power made a big gain in the off year elections, then Obama waited until the last minute to heighten a sense of emergency and struck a deal with a lame duck congress. Hey, he had no choice.

A TV program recently reported that 40% of Americans prefer winter to summer. That’s crazy, but understandable. But here is real crazy:  40% of Americans thinks the earth is 6000 years old. And, 40% that thinks it would be no big deal if America defaults on paying its debt.

The fact that 40% of the population are dolts — easily manipulated crazy voters, totally into the denial of reality — is very convenient for the puppet masters. This 40% empowers the oligarchy, the “Money Party” or whatever the are called, to do pretty much what they want.

It seems hard to believe, but signs point to the fact that, now, powerful forces in the oligarchy think it would be great if the US defaulted. Sure, default would be a big loss for the average American who would see their interest rates increase and their personal finances weakened or destroyed. But higher bank interest rates hurting average people would become big gains for the banks and for people with money. It would be a big loss for average Americans to experience a depression where property values would become drastically reduced. But if you are rich in cash, think of what you could buy up in the subsequent fire sales.

How to engineer a default to maintain the illusion of democracy is the question. Here’s the strategy: Deny any possible solution and at the last minute make sure the only available deal offered by the Republicans is a deal that Obama has already sworn to refuse.

If Obama can blame the Republicans, he may well follow the wishes of his overlords and allow a default to occur. Obama will be able to say: “See how wrong, how unreasonable the Republicans are.” And he will be right. But it won’t matter. The oligarchy can count on at least 40% of Americans to think irrationally, and whatever happens, they will be able to convince the lemmings that it is Obama’s fault. And, whoever is elected in the next cycle, The Money Party will remain in power. Regardless of the personality on stage — it is the Money Party that writes the script.
