Dayton Tea Party’s Free Film Festival Starts Today In Downtown Dayton

In honor of Veteran’s Day, the Dayton Tea Party, has organized an impressive “Liberty Film Festival” that begins today and runs through Sunday. The films are free to the public.

Here is a schedule:

Thursday, November 11, Veteran’s Day

  • 2:30 PM — “Rescue Dawn” shown at The Neon
  • 5:30 – 7:00 PM — Veteran’s Day Reception at The Dublin Pub
  • 7:30 PM —  “The Best Years of our Lives” shown at The Neon

Friday, November 12

  • 4:00 PM — “Rockin’ the Wall” shown at the Engineer’s Club
  • 6:00 – 7:00 PM — Reception at the Engineer’s Club
  • 7:30 PM — “Places in the Heart” shown at the Engineer’s Club

Saturday, November 13

  • 2:00 PM — “Empire of the Sun” shown at the Engineer’s Club
  • 6:00 – 7:00 PM — Reception at the Engineer’s Club
  • 7:30 PM — “Rockin’ the Wall” shown at the Engineer’s Club

Sunday, November 14

  • 2:30 PM — “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” shown at The Neon
  • 6:00 – 7:00 — Post Festival Reception The Dublin Pub

In announcing the film festival, Robb Scott, President of the Dayton Tea Party, writes, “The Dayton Tea Party salutes all of those who served our great country. Without the millions of men and women who have sacrificed for our country, we would not hold the liberties we enjoy today. To all veterans, thank you for your service and sacrifice.”
