It has been rumored for weeks that Representative Matt Dolan was leaving the Ohio House. The former contender for Minority Leader has decided to move to Cuyahoga County to run for the County Executive seat.
While this bit of news caught few off guard it does raise questions about the stability of the GOP in Columbus. In what has been described as a shifting of deck chairs. Matt Hurley and Kyle Sisk are reporting that Mary Taylor will move from the Auditor’s office and will accept the LG spot with Kasich. Republicans close to the campaign confirmed that “Seth is exploring” a run for the Auditors office should Taylor not seek re-election.
